A flaw in the patent system.

This is not an attack on Apple ;however, this is an example of just how broke the patent system is.

 Apple  has this patent 49632114:

an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program. 

Now notice the words -



For those of you that are not from "Old Tech" -
Punch cards were Binary based and were a way of programming functions. The operator was the variable part by which switched they enabled.

Patents should not be allowed if they are so broad.-

This machine does exactly what Apple Patented except this is IBM from more than 25 years before the patent.

That is why my readers I will state the following:
I think the patent system needs a Major Overhaul.
